SOCAP09 just wrapped up today in Fort Mason, San Francisco — it’s one of the premier events for social investors, philanthropies, social VCs, and entrepreneurs interested in connecting and learning. My favorite part of the conference? Re-connecting with speakers, GSVC judges, and Haas alums as well as meeting new folks who are doing game-changing work in this space. It’s incredible how tight-knit this network is, and I’m constantly amazed (but in reality shouldn’t be!) when I meet Haas alums from organizations like Skoll Foundation, Gray Ghost Ventures, and GSMA Development Fund.
